Sick kids
So, I'm trying to figure out how people like Cheryl Ballek or Jeri Jo do it. I've only got two little twirpies and it seems like one or both of them have been sick with one thing or another all winter. If not them, me. Today poor little 8 month old, Landon has a touch of the flu or something with throwing up and diarrhea. I feel so bad for him cause he doesn't understand. All I can do is hold him ALL DAY LONG. So here's to all you mom's out there with sick kids!

Man do I here you.
I started out the morning yesterday with Jalyn sick, not keeping anything down. Then about 12:30 the school nurse calls to say Alyssa is having the same problem. About 5:00, Jackson starts the same thing. Poor Katrin is wanting sympathy for an abcessed tooth and I just want to crawl in a hole somewhere.
Both Alyssa & Jack laid around most of the day today also calling out their requests. Jalyn just wanted to be cuddled and ate very little. Every time I laid her down she'd wake up and we'd start all over. Here I am now at midnight holding a baby who just finally fell asleep two minutes ago, hoping she chooses to stay asleep this time because I seriously am going to crash if she doesn't.
It sure is all worth it being a Mommy though isn't it? The giggles supercede the whining.
See, that's what I mean. I feel for you with all 4 of them. And yep, sure do agree with you on the last line. I wouldn't change it for the world!
I feel for you both as just a couple weeks ago that was me. Ayanna started out throwing up every 10 minutes and Isaac started in about an hour later just when I thought I was going to be able to get some sleep and so I was up all night holding tubs and wiping mouths and cuddling crys, and changing bedding!
I wouldn't change it for the world!
I didn't mention this week has been the colds comin on strong. Isaac is the worst with colds he doesn't get it all coughed up ever so he gags and hacks endlessly.
It has been a winter of one thing after another. I've had them all, too.
By the way, the Flu symptoms include sinus, and bronchitis following stomach and intestinal upset. It's the same bug, not a cold.
I'm glad I'm done raising mine, and Yes, it was worth it all.
If you would like to hear the worst throw-up clean-up a parent needed to do, ask Vyron about his experience with Karina and Vyron, when he was a single parent.
