Blogging somewhere else

It kinda looks like this blogging thing has died out some. I suppose most people are busy at this time of the year. I actually have been posting on another site. I'll still play around here once in a while, but if you want to check out more daily postings from me here's the link http://www.xanga.com/private/home.aspx?user=irual

I'm back

This is like the 3rd time attempting to edit this blog. So I refuse to type it all again. It didn't say anything important anyway. Here's a picture of Karina trying on her prom dress that her mom so graciously paid half of (Karina paid the other half herself).

Don't have much else to say except that we're still praying for Baby Jalyn. G'night all!

Landon's first Christmas
Posted by Lauri

Okay, so this is cheating, but so what?

I went to town today and got a scrapbooking program for the computer. I kind of feel like it's the cheater's way to scrapbook, but it's just sooooo quick and easy. Especially since most of our pictures are digital anyway. It's called "Art Explosion Scrapbook Factory Deluxe" version 2.0 and so far I really like it. Above is the page I did right after I installed it. Cute, huh?

Don't you just love fresh pineapple?

Time Hog

It seems like I've spent forever on the computer trying to get this stuff put together. I know it doesn't look like I've done much, but I've been searching for add-ons to make it more personalized and not so generic. Looks like I may have to ask Karina for some tips as she's got a similar site on a different "blogging spot" and she's figured out all sorts of neat things to add on. Won't be tonight I guess. Too late. Landon's feeling much better today. Must have just been the stomach flu. I'm so glad. He was so miserable. On a similar, but different note....my little nephew, Nelson (my sister's boy), who is 18 months old, may need to be hospitalized with numerous problems, mainly dehydration. They are not sure yet what's all wrong, but possibly the Rotavirus. He will be checked again tomorrow and possibly admitted. This poor little guy has literally been sick for most of the fall and winter with many different ailments.

Ok...gotta get to bed. Morning comes quickly.

Sick kids

So, I'm trying to figure out how people like Cheryl Ballek or Jeri Jo do it. I've only got two little twirpies and it seems like one or both of them have been sick with one thing or another all winter. If not them, me. Today poor little 8 month old, Landon has a touch of the flu or something with throwing up and diarrhea. I feel so bad for him cause he doesn't understand. All I can do is hold him ALL DAY LONG. So here's to all you mom's out there with sick kids!
